Very nice work Noah. Getting caught in rain with pastels is never a fun moment, but you finished it just in time ;)
I really like how it turned out, a nice contrast of values and temperature. Did you compose the dark undersides of clouds on purpose to connect with the hills on the right and left? I like how they lead you in circle. How big is the picture?
Cheers
i really like how it turned out. :]
maybe the rain won't catch you next time O:
This is amazing! i love all your pieces. really inspiring work!
thanks for sharing :)
Dalibor, this was done pretty quick half and hour maybe and although I would like to say I made the underside of the clouds dark to connect with the hills, I really just painted what I saw. I did try to make it dynamic and full of contrast, but the painting is only about 5 inches by 4 inches and whipped out. Most of the nice stuff is just happy accidents. Britney and Trevor thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
Noah, thanks for taking the time to write back! :)
