It has been a while, I have been spending every free moment with my wonderful wife and daughter. For a time I was even working on two projects at the same time at work. For my first fathers day I went on a trip with my family and got to do a plein air pastel. What a perfect day and what a way to get back into the swing of things.

Great pastel as always, good to see your work back online too. Normally I paint with oil, but I've been trying pastels recently - really fun to use, but they are really going to take some getting used too. Those little dudes look all nice and dark, just the right tone and then you put them on the paper and WHAM! they key about ten steps higher! I'm going to have to really do some practicing, but your work is a real inspiration.
