Well, it took me a little over two weeks (crazy busy at work), but here it is another installment of character designs and an illustration using one of the designs.
This blog is an online journal of sketches, drawings, illustrations, concept art, paintings, character designs, color studies, children's book development, Plein air pastels, visual development, and all other personal artwork.

Wow Noah, your latest illustration is incredible. I really love the way you framed the Frankenstein creature in shadow, popping the girl out even more against his silhouette.
Was great to finally meet and speak with you a few weeks back by the way!
Really nice man. Very impressive. That first drawing sells it.
Great designs! Your composition for this pastel is lovely.
these are freakin' sweet.
Very Attractive character design.
Wow thats great! Love the composition and color choices.
Wow! Terrific Frankenstein's Monster!
The illustration totally made me think of the Czech story of Golem (the original legend from which the story of Frankenstein seems born). The gray monster kind of looks like he could be made of clay, and the clocktower in the background looks like it could be a building in Prague — perhaps the clock tower in the Jewish quarter?
I love the story of Golem (The original. Not LOTR, though his is a good one, too).
Hi Noah, and thanks for your kind comment! The second pencil sketch from top is by far my favourite, though I must say I really like your line...
Congrats!
Beautiful ilustrations and characters! You have a very nice use of color, it's very vibrant. Great work!
Beautiful work! It's nice to see variety in the initial designs compared to the final piece. Good choice on the final character. That dark looming shape is rather creepy.
Super design Noah. The development is really cool.
Thanks so much for the awesome comment on my blog. I almost fell out of my chair when I read it.
You're one of the greats man,
Joe
Hi Noah.
I love the shapes you gave Frankenstein in the illustration. Gargantuan!
You have a great blog, and I especially enjoy this scene. The design of the monster really plays well against the tiny girl and the lighting beautifully completes the poetry of the moment.
What a cool idea for Frankenstein's monster. These designs are great. Can't wait to see whats coming the next round. Keep it up

Noah,
ThanQ I am humbled by such a Great compliment.
I'm glad I found your work also. You have a unique and exceptional eye for character design and production design.
It's no surprise you have been snatched up by pixar.
This Joan of Arc developmental work looks very appealing.
It's this type of personal aesthetic, that I'd like to see more of in animation. As Artists I think thats the point.
I will link you when I get a chance
Best to you
J

We second what everybody else said. You've explored this so well. I love that first illo. of the monster- it has a feeling of melancholy and vulnerability.
