Well I have been off for a while attending to my family, but I'm back in part so here is a little character study I did this week during lunch. This weeks challenge was to design Robinson Crusoe, I hope you enjoy and thanks for all the kind comments on the arrival of my daughter.

Everytime i do pastels i always dread doing characters! You seem to be doing a good job painting characters with pastel. Have you tried pastel pencils for details? Ive always wanted to buy pastel pentils to do detailed stuff over the soft pastel layers that i lay down first but by the time i get to the detail stage the paper is oversaturated with pigment, No more tooth! anyways, looking forward to your futur posts
