Painting with the early birds

Posts have been a bit slow in coming lately, and will continue this way for a little while more. I'm crazy busy at work and my wife and I are expecting our first child any day now. Thanks for all the visits and kind comments.

Ahhh! No wonder, ya shoulda told me. Man, congratulations on your baby, what a rush that must be. =D

Hey this is nice. I like the composition. I really like the temperature changes on the structure, and the yellow-orange for the backlight. It's working!

Sorry Eduardo, I should have gotten back to you sooner. Thanks everyone for the best wishes, my wife an I couldn't be more excited. Although I don't usually put work or personal stuff on this blog I'll try and post when our baby arrives.

Thanks again.

Hey thanks for stopping by and commenting on my pastels. I always found your pastels really inspiring thanks for posting them. Drawing with colour is really helping me with my personal work, i'm so happy that i had a chance to learn about how to use them this summer. I really want to improve, i stopped using fixative.

Congrats on being a father, thats probably an overwhealming growing experiance.
Say hello to Dan for me, and tell him to get a blog.

Just remember to breathe, and remind Lori to sleep when she can ;). The first few days are such a rush, you might forget to sleep.

Really, really nice work. Made me glad to see. Got the link from, http://yacinfields.blogspot.com/ and I'm really happy that I "clicked" it.

Haven't been drawing in pastels for ages but now I'm eager to do it again.

Good luck!
