Still trying to simplify and push the forms in my art , I headed out with Daniel, Ron and Jackson for some outdoor painting this weekend.

I'm glad that you posted these up. My favorite has to be the last one. I like the fact that you push the shapes, even in plein air stuff. Very Thiebaud. It was a pleasure to hang out with you, Dan, and Ron. We should do it again soon. J

It was a pleasure doing outdoor painting with you, Dan and Jackson. Definitely something I'd like to do more often. Man, did these turn out nice! My favorites are the first and last ones. Love the atmosphere of the first and the energy of the last.
Love your work, I practically like the last drawing, the roundness of the hills and trees creates a realistic yet cartoon feel.
