Still more pastels

I really wanted to post non pastels, but that will have to wait for another post.
The ocean painting is from LA and the other two were done an a very overcast day with very flat light.
I also included an image of my box for arri.

Enjoy

I really like that first one, with the aging machinery of whatever kind. Growing up in an agricultural area, I've got a soft spot for silos and tractors and sheds, especially if they're rusted out.

I always enjoy your artwork. Pastels have a kind of otherworldly look to them...

Thanks for the encouragement everyone, I struggled with the flat light one the top two and ultimately don't feel this weeks pastels are that compelling. I want to push myself to simplify and and push the l contrast in shape and value. Basically I have a lot of work to do, but thanks to everyone.

Nice pastels. I'm glad you've found a medium that you like and really stuck with it to the point where you're perfecting it.

You may "have a lot of work to do," but I'm enjoying these as is right now.

Sorry I've not found you 'til now -- damn damn damn fine work. A varied, sensitive hand and eye...thanks for sharing these.
